Wish I could give 10 stars 💕 Had an amazing stay at this property. It was luxurious, very clean, cozy, spacious, comfortable beds, well stocked and conveniently located to Broken Bow center. Great customer service from the owner., very quick to respond..needed help with the door key pad coz I’ve never used one before..Will definitely book it again.

Beautiful cabin, great location Such an amazing cabin. Was perfect set up for our family with the 3 separate king bedrooms! Beautifully designed and no details missed! Communication was good and prompt. Patio was perfect for the rainy weather. Easy to get into Hochatown but still feel like you are in the woods! Would definitely recommend and come back again!!

Nice cabin in the woods We spend 3 nights here. The property looks new and it was very clean. It has TVs in all rooms, lots of board games, nice fire pit and hot tub. We will come back.

Christmas Time Away Great place, clean and comfortable. The "split" house was perfect for our couples to have some privacy. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Perfection Amazing getaway! Such a warm, family-oriented feel to the property, but still with gorgeous modern architecture and aesthetics. Location was perfect - just mins from essentially everything - while still tucked back beneath beautiful pines.

Beautiful scenery The house had everything we needed. The outside area in the back was perfect and the trees surrounding were beautiful. The windows really brought the outside in. We also loved that firewood was provided.

Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the cabin was, inside and out. The cabin is very well maintained and has everything well stocked. I have been to quite a few rentals in different parts of the country, and none were as stocked as this one. The small touches like the wine bottle opener, the soaps in the bathrooms, the beautiful decor definitely made the trip more enjoyable. We didn&#x2019;t have to search for or go out and purchase anything except food. <br/><br/>From the pictures, it looks like the loft beds are not as high as they are in real life. I was thinking my kids would enjoy sleeping up there, as they love bunk beds. But I would say these lofts are for children or adults at least 10 and older. I climbed up there on the first day, and I was surprised there is not much ledge to place your feet when you get up there. That part makes it a bit difficult to get your footing set on the ladder to come down the steps as well. <br/><br/>The cabin is in a great location. It&#x2019;s close to the main road and to town, but it&#x2019;s not too close to the main road (where you would hear the traffic). There is a lot of cabin construction in the area, so the roads aren&#x2019;t great right now. I&#x2019;m thinking they are temporary roads, so once the construction is completed, they will likely redo the roads. <br/><br/>All in all, we had an amazing vacation here and are all looking forward to returning soon!

Wonderful experience!! This was our family’s first time in Broken Bow (Hochatown), and we can’t wait to return. Humble Beginnings is a beautiful cabin! It was so clean and had everything our family needed. Our 2 boys loved sleeping up in the loft and playing the arcade games in the living room. We also really enjoyed the fire pit and the deck area with the hot tub. The windows along the back have a lovely view of the pine trees. We loved Humble Beginnings!!

Girls get away It was an amazing get away for three busy moms to just relax in The beautiful green wooded, secluded cabin. It was exactly what we needed and the house was immaculate…so clean and inviting. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for hosting us and for those great service…we were truly impressed.

Beautiful home Home was absolutely gorgeous!!!! Very clean and great communication with host! Only complaint is the four mile gravel road to the house. Had a flat tire upon arrival. If I would’ve known the road was so bad, we would’ve driven my husbands truck. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing! We come to BB every Memorial Day. Chateau Thoreau was by far the best cabin we have stayed in.....so much so we extended our stay this year! If you’re looking for an amazing cabin “in the woods” not too far from the attractions in Broken Bow, Chateau Thoreau is for you!

weekend get away The home and property was amazing extremely clean and still had a new home smell the ONLY down fall was the lack of water pressure for the showers and the 4 mile county dirt road leading to the property was rarely maintained so beware of huge pot holes and extremely rough but other than that a fantastic trip we will be back again

Very much a rustic appeal. We had a family vacation with ages from 10 to 86. We did a river trip in kayaks, walked in the river below the dam and did go-carts. Very nice and enjoyable time. Very enjoyed the cabin!!! We came here from Houston.This is our first experience and it couldn’t have been better. We fell in love with this home at the first sight. We loved EVERYTHING. Wish we’d stay longer , but we’ll tell our friends and family members . We’re definitely planning on coming back one day in the future. Thank you for everything!!!

Lovely cabin This cabin is in a great location. Paved roads are a plus if you’re familiar with hochatown you know that is sometimes a luxury :) We loved the layout and having the breezeway in the middle was a fun and different touch. The only negatives(but not deal breakers): The curtains covering the windows on the bedroom doors were cumbersome. The couch is not comfy for movie watching. The patio furniture outside was actually more comfortable for watching tv on. And unless we just couldn’t figure it out, there’s no cable showing live TV. I only bring this up because my husband missed watching a football game, and I never heard the end of it :) But overall, a great stay! The kitchen is very well equipped and the Nespresso machine was a really nice touch too!

When we walked into the house, it was exceptionally clean, smelt like a spa, had background music going, and felt like a 5 star resort! We really loved the layout. 3 bedrooms all had king sized (comfortable) beds with en suites. Perfect for several couples. The breezeway was awesome for grilling and hanging out, and the cabin had all kinds of fun games, from Pac Man to Cornhole. It was in a great location, and we would definitely stay here again!

Extremely spacious, comfortable, clean, with every necessity you could think of needing. Very upscale for a cabin but also provided a very rustic, at-home feel. There are not many places you can enjoy a soak in the SPA while the barbecue is heating up to cook a nice meal that you can enjoy while watching your favorite team play on a nice flat screen above a fireplace on your outside porch. Location was great, close to stores and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful Simplicity in the Pines is an absolutely beautiful cabin! Gorgeous scenery inside and outside. The set up of the bedrooms can accommodate 1-3 families. We loved the outdoor area in-between the cabins. Great location.

Great family Cabin This is the perfect cabin for families with couples and kids. It had its privacy for those wanting some alone time and great communal spaces for all to enjoy and build memories. Location is amazing and the property is beautiful. The family will be back

Beautiful cabin & amazing time! The cabin was very clean. The amenities were well thought out and appreciated. Only minor suggestion is to add a full length mirror to the backside of a door and blinds for the small windows by the bunks.

Perfect getaway Absolutely amazing. This cabin is stunning. It makes me want to buy a cabin next to it, and copy everything about it. Your surrounded by other cabins, but it feels secluded. The touches inside the house were perfect. It had everything we needed, and probably more. Your just outside the state park, but there's tons to do all around you. Could ask for more.

Great family outing Already planing my next stay. Detail to the thoughtfulness of pets was a plus. Walking distance to the Candy Den! View of stars at night was a night topper!

Amazing Cabin & Amazing Hosts Just returned from our stay at Humble Beginnings. My husband & I and our ten year old twins had an amazing time! The cannon was modern and spacious with everything you need to cook and spend quality time together as a family. There’s kids love need the PAC-MAN video game (so did my husband). They were plenty of board games to play together. We saw many beautiful fire flies as we sat outside for dinner each night. The lot has a great deal of privacy which we loved. Our Goldens loved the woods and enjoyed the walks outside. The host and owners were amazing. I very responsive and kind. We will definitely stay at this cabin again. We loved it so much that (before we even left) we booked a larger Marshmallow Memories cabin for our whole family to spend Christmas in this year! I can’t say enough about this property. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place, the fresh air is amazing in Hochatown, don’t miss your chance to make memories at this beautiful cabin!

Beautiful Home The home was beautiful! Perfect for my family. We loved how it was close off the main road so we didn’t have to drive very far when we wanted to head into town. Such a fun experience and we’d love to go back again!

Anniversary Celebrate My wife and I, along with my best friend and his wife spent 3 nights at Humble Beginnings to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. This is a great cabin for 2 couples and is in a great location, close to all of the attractions Hochatown has to offer.

Girls' Decompression Trip This vacation rental was even more beautiful than any of the pictures. The view from the living room was breathtaking. There were six women and we had plenty of room. There was never a loss for something to do with the game room upstairs, hot tub outside with fireplace and tv, lots of room to sit both inside and outside. We will be back no doubt.
